The Black and White Masquerade Ball Auction went off without a hitch and was a great success both as a fundraiser and as a moment for our community to have some fun together. We are so very grateful for the hard work of all our volunteers but especially to the creative, clever, and charismatic Chairs who steered us through. For those who don’t know, it takes all year long to build this event and these dedicated people represent the very best of the Wakefield spirit and community.
Thank you also to all who attended the event and/or who participated in the Holiday Auction back in December and who bought raffle tickets. All of the funds raised through these activities are now hard at work within our school’s operations, ensuring that we bring this busy and vibrant year to a close on sound financial footing. If you are interested in helping out for next year, the first task is to choose our theme and we’ll be doing that early in the summer. Please contact Ann-Charlotte Robinson if you want to sign up or if you have any questions - 540-253-7502 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Once again, thank you, Wakefield community!
